How to install Yii framework within Xampp?

First of all, Go to official page of Yii, and download the zip file.

search for yii at google

download yii from official page

Once your download has completed, unpack the file and rename the folder for ease of use.

Then save this folder to the directory C:\xampp\

htdocs directory

Activate Apache and MySql services from Xampp control panel.

Now go to your web browser and follow the link, localhost/yii/

yii site

Now, Yii is successfully installed in your PC

You can go to localhost/yii/yii-1.1.14.f0fee9/demos/blog/ to visit the sample page from yii blogs.
