iOS 9’s Notes App comes with mind blowing features that we had never expected to happen. In the beginning, it was a simple Notepad App, but now it became the smartest mobile Notepad. It offers you a lot of features with ease of use, but you must have to know how to use them properly. iCloud Drive plays an important role in taking your notes on all of your Apple devices easily.
A brand new checklist can make your notes and to-do’s more responsive and attractive. There you can attach your images from your iCloud Drive or your phone itself. Not done yet, there is something else too, that you had wished to have in your classrooms. Yes, you can draw your sketches on this cool Notes with available brushes and pencils with many colors. That is really great, right?
Sketches in your Notes
A simple picture can explain thousands of words even though it is free hand drawing. There are many colors available that you can use with brushes and pencils. It allows a scale object as well and you can use this scale to draw at any degree of angle. For me, it was a great experience same as when I used the paint software when I got a PC for the first time. It is sure that it can bring back your childhood for a moment.
Checklists in your Notes
Checklists are faster, responsive and attractive than before. You can create checklists for your to-do lists or shopping items whatever you want. For the first time when you are entering a list, you have to click tick button above the keypad for making it as a list. Once you finished your activities, you can check the list on the left side in a circle check button. That’s it.
Images in your Notes
If you need some pictures to be added in your Notes, you can. You may have to do some simple steps for this. This is why I said it is truly a smartphone app by its name. You may be able to write even assignments on this Notes app in coming future. Wait for that.
Attach links and locations in your Notes
You can include not only images but also websites links, map locations in this new Notes app. For this, you may have to go to the relevant app and click the share button, then you can see an option to share the respective web link or map location to Notes app. In the case of the web link, you can go to any web browsers such as Safari and for map location, go to Maps app.
Ask Siri for Notes
Last but not simple, you can access your Notes by simply asking to Siri. Yes, that is possible with this new version of iOS 9. Even if you don’t know the exact title you can ask by list contents, just like “show me that”, “open this”, “find that”. Thats really funny and easier, right?
